Over the past three years, we have together rebuilt toilets and science, playground and library facilities in these otherwise neglected and dilapidated schools.
We also conduct an ongoing programme at the State Welfare Home for Children in Crisis. These children have otherwise a very bleak future to look forward to. Due to the interaction with older children who have are brought to the home due to petty crime, a lot of the younger children graduate towards crime and drugs.
The Peace Child India programme infuses a sense of purpose in the lives of these children and encourages them to seek alternatives through art, music, dance/drama and puppetry.
